But the women insisted on taking her with them, promising food and safety. Saru tried to move away, but they followed her aggressively. She ran through the streets, shaken and exhausted, until she reached another lane.
A Local Woman Turns Sinister
Saru met a woman watering plants near a shop. She asked urgently for a phone to call Ved, but her phone was dead. The woman first gave her water and calmed her. Then she warned Saru that the strangers were part of a dangerous group trapping girls. Fear gripped Saru, but before she could react, dizziness hit her. The woman’s face turned cold. Saru realized too late that she was trapped again. Someone else arrived from the shadows, and Vijay appeared, looking terrifying and dangerous. Saru’s hope of escape seemed slim.
Anika’s Plan Unfolds
As Saru tried to run, Anika appeared. She had planned everything and watched with satisfaction. She ordered the kidnappers to take Saru far away and never let her return.
