Saru asked Phulla if all work was done. Phulla said yes and asked about the plan. Saru said they would go to college and attend the class. Chandrakant called and told Saru that Dadi had gone to the temple. Saru got worried at once. Her saree got spoiled with ketchup, and Phulla asked her to change quickly. Saru rushed to the temple. There, Dadi told the Pandit that she wanted to do a tough puja to find her granddaughter. The Pandit warned her about the hard rituals. Dadi said she was ready to give her life for this prayer.
Saru Decides to Perform the Tapasya for Dadi
Saru reached the temple and stopped Dadi. Dadi got shocked to see her. Saru said Dadi could not do such hard tapasya. Dadi said her pain for her granddaughter was very deep. She wanted to do it herself. Saru requested her again and said she would do the tapasya in her place. She said Mata Rani would listen to her prayer. After much request, Dadi agreed. Saru prepared herself and started climbing the temple stairs on her knees. Dadi watched with wet eyes. Her heart filled with respect and love for Saru.
