Karan fought Barkha’s men with full strength to save Lakshmi. She was losing consciousness because of the smoke around her. Karan picked up a burning wooden torch and scared the men away. After they ran off, he lifted Lakshmi in his arms and rushed out of the fire.
Karthik was about to leave the house when he saw Karan entering with Lakshmi in his arms. He got shocked and asked what had happened. Dadi felt relieved seeing Lakshmi back home. Karan said Lakshmi needed rest and asked everyone to stay calm.
Karan Told the Family About the Poison
Karan made Lakshmi rest on the bed. Dadi and Barkha asked him how he found her. Karan explained that he saved Lakshmi from some goons. He also told them that he took her to Dr Mathur, who found snake poison in her body. The doctor removed the poison and asked them not to worry.
Dadi questioned Barkha because she earlier claimed Lakshmi ran away from them. Barkha stuck to her story and said Lakshmi might have met scammers after escaping. Karan said they would know the truth when Lakshmi woke up. Dadi, Barkha and Bhavani left, while Karan asked Karthik to leave the room as Lakshmi needed rest.
Lakshmi Heard About Karthik And Barkha’s Wedding
The next morning, Lakshmi woke up and saw the whole house decorated. She asked Dadi the reason. Before Dadi could reply, Karthik said it was a surprise. He fed laddoo to Lakshmi and announced that he and Barkha were getting married that day.
Dadi said there was no auspicious date, and their wedding was planned for next month. But Karthik said he wanted to marry Barkha as soon as possible. Dadi finally agreed. Karthik then told Lakshmi about the Nigam family ritual where the bride gets ready by her Bhabhi. He asked Lakshmi to do it. Lakshmi stayed silent, but Karan agreed for her.
Lakshmi Faced More Hurt From Karthik
Karan understood Lakshmi’s silent pain and told her it must be very hard for her. Lakshmi said pain had become normal for her and walked away. Later, a servant brought a bridal dress for Karthik. Karthik made hurtful comments and reminded her that the Mangalsutra she wore once belonged to him. Lakshmi quietly brought the Mangalsutra and gave it back. After she left, Karthik felt angry that she moved on and became someone else’s wife. He decided to hurt her feelings by showing her that he now belonged to another woman.

Lakshmi’s hurt was visible in every scene, and Karan tried his best to support her. The episode ended with strong drama, setting up more conflict for the coming track.
